What do do when you Don't Feel Like Doing Anything at all


Phew! That was a long but necessary title! Life hits hard at times and throws us curve balls we are often not prepared for. However, not all the things that hit us are bad things sometimes they hit us faster than expected and we are unprepared! 

If you are one of those people who have been in one of these situations and need a little kick -- keep reading, this article is for you.


Get some Rest



It could be that you are working too hard and have overexerted yourself too much and your body is literally saying "since you are not gonna slow down I'm just gonna stop moving". If you haven't taken a vacation in a while, it might be a good time to book a flight or a cruise anywhere! I recommend actually getting away from your current environment and away from your stressors so you can get some rest.


Take Small Steps Daily



Fear can have crippling effects once we allow it to creep in! It could be that you are afraid of taking that next step and you've decided to not do anything at all. What works for me when I'm in this situation is to take very small steps and do one thing at a time. Setting small realistic goals is better than not taking any steps at all and I find that you accomplish so much more this way without realizing it.


Find an Accountability Partner



It's ok to ask for help! It is impossible to do everything all by yourself! Life can get so complicated and become too much so fast. An accountability partner is like a physical manifestation of your conscience that can help to keep you on the right path. This, of course, is not a one-way deal as you would be reciprocating whatever they need to keep their goals on track.


Just Go for It



Sometimes it's better to rip the band-aid off without even thinking. I find that if we allow ourselves to think about something for too long, we end up overthinking and we never actually accomplish what we set out to do. If there is something you've always wanted to do just go for it.

I really do hope these tips help at least one person to get out of that funk, do a self-assessment and fo forward and boldly towards your dream.
