#DAY 2 | What's on my 2019 Reading List

I do not have a reading list! This would be the shortest Blog post ever, so in keeping with the 31 days of writing, I will be sharing my "Dream" reading list!

This, of course, will include the books I would like to read this year.

Becoming by Michelle Obama

An interesting thing about this book -- I saw it in Walmart and walked right past it as it wasn't in my budget nor would it fit in my suitcase. I have no idea what the book is about but everybody is talking about it so I might pick it up later in the month.

47 Things you need to know about your Canon EOS Rebel T6 by David D. Busch

Ok, so this is the only new book I purchased this month because I just bought a new Camera! Yay Me! So far it's really great with easy to follow instructions, great illustrations and everything is numbered to the corresponding part of the camera. It's easy to read and understand and is great to introduce you to the Canon EOS Rebel T6 and how to take pictures.

The Path made clear by Oprah Winfrey

Oprah is back with another book one that serves as a guide to help activate your desire for a successful and significant reason to be alive. Sounds like an intense yet interesting read and Oprah has a way with words that forces you to think and get out of your comfort zone.

On the Come Up by Angie Thomas

This is the same author who penned "The Hate you Give" that went to the big screens. This story follows a girl named Bri who has dreams of becoming a successful rapper though faced with many challenges along the way.

The Source of Self-Regard by Toni Morrison

I read Toni Morrison's "Beloved" in High School and fell in love with Literature. She is one of those authors who paints a picture with her words with vivid descriptions and she is known for dropping F-bombs in her books. This will help with how I use words to tell stories and hopefully improve my writing.

Do you plan on reading any books this year? What are your top 5?

We have a small favor to ask. People are reading the Haute Lifestyle than ever since our recent placement in the South Florida Blogger Awards but advertising revenues across the media are falling fast. We do not have investors and everything Blog related is funded out of pocket– we want to keep our journalism as fun and open as we can. So you can see why we need to ask for your help. Our article takes a lot of time, money and hard work to produce. But we do it because we believe our perspective and voices matter – because it might well be your perspective, too.

If everyone who reads our posts, who likes it, helps fund it, our future would be much more secure.

For as little as $1, you can support The Haute Lifestyle
