Best #SquadGoals of 2018 -- Our Ultimate List (JAMAICAN EDITION)

2018 flew by faster than a New York Minute! We saw the rise and fall of trends that should have probably been left in the 80s. Here in Jamaica, we saw the emergence of squads where various people banded together to form the ultimate squad.

Keep reading to see who made our list for the Best #SquadGoals in 2018 (in no particular order). To make things easier, we've also broken them down into categories.

Petite Sue, Tanaania, RushCam, Quite Perry + Shammy & Mitty Surtz | #Influencersquad

There is no doubt Sue-Ann Gordon- Pitter aka "Petite Sue" is one of the biggest Youtubers in Jamaica! Sis has been working hard since she first came on YouTube and keeps growing, creates engaging + fresh content and is just an overall sweetheart. We were this year introduced to a few of her equally popular friends namely: Social Media Influencer "Quite Perry" known for his popular "Patricia" skits on Facebook, Tanaania with her Fashion Boutique "Shop NecessiT's" whose innate Fashion sense probably inspired the song "Walking Trophy", Newcomer "RushCam" who made the seamless transition from Blogging to creating his fast-growing YouTube channel bearing his moniker. Rounding out the squad is Petite's younger sister Shammy who has a YouTube channel of her own and is known for her vibrant personality and Mitty Surtz who shows us it's possible to have it all by being a BOSS and Mom.

This squad works because they have a genuine interest in each other and they leverage their powers respectively by collaborating.

Nicole McLaren Campbell + Jeffrey Campbell (Agent Sasco) -- #Thedynamicduo

Can we just have a moment to celebrate Nicole McLaren Campbell and all her accomplishments? She is the true definition of a mogul and she has piqued but still not fully at her pique -- get it? From a best-selling author on Amazon to sold-out workshops while putting Jamaican students on the map by helping them to better prepare for Universities in the US with her AIM Educational Services. Nicole's superpowers are harnessed and sustained through the support of her husband Jeffrey aka Agent Sasco whose Hope River album was a major hit after it's release in 2018.

We like the fact that no matter how busy their lives may get, they always support  and "Big Up" each other in a major way.

Lecia-Gaye + Garfield Taylor + Jordan Taylor | #Family Goals

Who would have thought that a Lawyer and an Officer could come together to create social media magic! Lecia-Gaye was known to us in the Blogging world as one who candidly spoke her truth about life and her relationship and of course, those well-coordinated photo shoots with her husband. Things really got kicked up a notch when the couple announced they were expecting then soon after the beautiful Jordan Taylor was born with a head full of hair!

We feel we've been on a journey with this amazing couple and their beautiful social media images. BTW Lecia-Gaye, Jordan looks like your husband The next one will for sure look like you  (as your husband has instructed us on Social Media to let you know)

Ding Dong + Ravers | #Best Dance Squad

"Flair is in the air --yuh ketch it, yuh ketch it" 2018 was a lit year in dance thanks to Ding Dong and his Ravers Clavers dance squad! It legit felt like the 2000s when we would go out and dance to all the latest moves and just had a grand time! These dance moves even made it on the International stage in Thailand and the recent staging of Miss World.

2018 was the year everyone from grandmas to babies was flinging their shoulders.

The Collection MoDA | #Fashion Squad

The Collection MoDA series of events is high on our social events calendar as a "definite must attend". This year, event conceptualizer Kerry-Ann Clarke and her team took the event to a whole other level! She added MoDA Music and for this year's MoDA Market, the event layout was literally a maze of amazingness, showcasing the best artisans had to offer. We were blown away by their MoDA Mag from the cover design to the concept and of course their yearly photoshoot where this year they all donned floral crowns by Tai Flora Luxe.

This is definitely Fashion at the highest level in Jamaica.

We hope you enjoyed our list of the #squads that stood out the most (in our opinion) in 2018. If there are people we missed, comment below and tell us the category you would place them in.
