Caribbean Model Search + Schools Model Search 2018

Caribbean Model Search

Each year thousands of hopeful females try out for the Pulse Caribbean Model search with hopes of securing a spot at the prestigious modeling agency. The event that is usually broadcasted on TV in the form of a reality show and highlights young girls competing for a spot at international modeling.

This year, things were taken up a notch and guys who had an interest in international modeling had the chance to compete. This is a first for the long-running television series -- international and well-accomplished male model Oraine Barrett, flew in for the event and served as a judge. The series premiered on September 14, 2018, on TVJ and was shot on location at Melia Braco Resort Village.

Pulse School Search Tour

As an initiative to create awareness and recruit a fresh crop of models, Pulse launched an islandwide search for Highschoolers. Over 400 young faces from 40 schools have been recruited who are all anticipating their fate on October 6,2018 when they will know if they have been selected.

The new Pulse School Search Tour will expand a movement that has changed the face of personal and professional development for young people in Jamaica and beyond for close to four decades. In fact, the Pulse School Search Tour can also be seen as a formalisation of what the company began years ago when it determined that the Caribbean should be making its mark in global fashion with its top-rated talent.

We have a small favor to ask. People are reading the Haute Lifestyle than ever since our recent placement in the South Florida Blogger Awards but advertising revenues across the media are falling fast. We do not have investors and everything Blog related is funded out of pocket– we want to keep our journalism as fun and open as we can. So you can see why we need to ask for your help. Our article takes a lot of time, money and hard work to produce. But we do it because we believe our perspective and voices matter – because it might well be your perspective, too.

If everyone who reads our posts, who likes it, helps fund it, our future would be much more secure.
