Sister Nancy

Internationally acclaimed Jamaican Reggae-Dancehall Singer/DJ, Sister Nancy will headline a charity concert dubbed as "Lips Live" on August 24, 2018, at 2a Strathairn Avenue (off Ruthven Road) near New Kingston through a partnership with Queens of Reggae Island Honorary Ceremonies (QORIHC).

Part proceeds of the concert will go towards a scholarship for a young woman in nursing school as well as contributing to the Gregory Isaacs Foundation.

This will be an exciting concert as Sister Nancy is known for her strong performances that artfully brings the powerful lyrics of her song to life. She is also dubbed as Jamaica's first original female Dj and so patrons can expect an unforgettable experience with a real feel good time which will resonate well especially with her original fans. According to Laurell Nurse, one of the chief organizers of the event ..

"Over the years' she has also managed to keep herself modern and people who are not from that era when she was in her prime, will appreciate her sound and her music. I'm sure everyone who comes out will at least know 'Bam Bam', one of her biggest songs so they can sing along and have a great time."

The "Bam Bam" singer will also see performances by artiste on the rise Kim Nain and other up and coming artists.

Tickets for the event are available for purchase at the venue and the Pulse Headquarters at 38 Trafalgar Road for $JMD1,000 |USD$10

In 2016 Sister Nancy was honored by the Queens of Reggae Island Honorary Ceremonies (QORIHC) for her contributions in music.
