Orville "Shaggy" Burrell

Scores of patrons from all over the world gathered on the Lawns of Jamaica House last Saturday for the Biennial event known as Shaggy and Friends.

Shaggy & Friends is the event organized by the diamond selling international reggae artiste Orville "Shaggy" Burrell and his wife Rebecca Packer- Burrell through his Shaggy Make a Difference  Foundation.

Shaggy enlisted the help of some of his musical friends including British Rocker legend, STING, Wyclef Jean, Dougie Fresh, Shenseea, Chris Martin, Aidonia, Barrington Levy, Junior Reid, Chaka Demus & Pliers, Wayne Wonder, Dexta Dops, Ding Dong & Ravers Clavers , Jovi Rockwell, Carlene Davis, Capleton, as well as Soca Duo Fayon Lyons & Bunji Garlin, Agent Sasco, Rayvon, Jovi Rockwell, Professor Buts, Third World and Shaggy himself.

Proceeds of the event will go towards increasing beds in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) where there are currently 5 beds.
