Juicing: The New Craze The Ultimate Guide to Healthy Juicing

If you keep up with social media, you would have noticed that junk food is out and healthy food is now in! It is no longer difficult to eat clean while on a budget and a time crunch! Juicing has become the new trend to fuel your body and satisfy your taste buds in the healthiest and most natural way possible.

The first essential item you’ll need is something most kitchens already have, a blender. To prep your natural and healthy ingredients, you’ll need your knife and hands; the blender does the rest.
Here are some simple delicious juicing recipes that you can easily whip up before you head out in the mornings or as a refreshing snack:

I call this one the merry berry smoothie because of its tendency to leave me feeling ecstatic after only one sip. Throw some frozen blueberries, raspberries, grapes and strawberries with just a few ice cubes in the blender and you are done. It is perfect for a hot day when you want something refreshing and sweet.

This is my go to detoxifying juice. It has all those “mean” green leafy vegetables that you would much rather not eat by themselves perfectly blended together to make something “nice”. Toss some kale, spinach, celery, cucumber and add some lime, ginger and pineapple to give it a tangy finish.

I am definitely a chocoholic and I go out of my way to find the healthiest solutions for my chocolate cravings. Chop up a super ripe banana and add two tablespoons of cocoa powder and honey, a teaspoon of vanilla extract with a cup of unsweetened almond milk and a dash of sea salt. Your finished product is a beautiful thick, creamy shake that you cannot get enough of.

A great post workout meal or snack is a protein shake with amazing and yummy fruits. Simply toss some strawberries, raspberries and blueberries in the blender, add some almond milk and a scoop of vanilla protein powder and start getting those gains.

I love nuts…almonds, cashews, peanuts, walnuts and the list goes on. Why not make the ultimate nut snack with a blender? Add a very ripe banana, a cup of unsweetened almond milk, some almonds and peanuts. You can even add some chia seeds, flax seeds and pumpkin seeds. To sweeten, add some honey. Crunchy! Creamy! Goodness!

I would choose juicing over junking any day. I guarantee that you will never get bored of eating healthy with these fun and easy recipes. For more recipes, Check out my Pinterest board dedicated to all things Juicing: https://www.pinterest.com/zollinax/juicing-over-junking/
