How to remove Acne Scars at Home

Ever since I hit the age of 29 ( yes , little me is 29 ) my skin has gone crazy! All of a sudden the "monthly" breakouts leave acne marks and I have the same breakouts at the same places. Aarrgh! Instead of taking the traditional "chemical" route by prescribing to over the counter drugs by a dermatologist ... I've decided to go au naturale . Here are some ways I'm dealing with Acne Scars at home.

Bizzy Tea ( Kola Nut ): Bizzy (kola nut) is the fruit of the cola tree, which is native to the tropical rain-forests of Africa. It has typically been kept in many Jamaican homes where it is used as an antidote against poison, usually food poisoning, and allergies. Basically, if there is something on your skin that is not supposed to be there , the Bizzy Tea will remove it! You can purchase the loose tea and boil it on the stove then add sugar if you wish or purchase the Teabag in stores. I drink that every other night and it helps with blood circulation and makes your skin have a natural glow because it works on the inside. This is relatively inexpensive and is readily available.

Aloe Vera ( Sinkle Bible ) : These grow in tropical countries where the weather is warm and if you live on the Islands it grows wild almost everywhere. It's prickly like a Cactus and what you do is cut it from the root , slice it in half to get that clear gel-like substance. One you have that substance you are gonna cleanse your face , then apply the gel directly to your skin and let it set on your face until you feel it tightening. This removes the dead skin and makes your face smooth and soft and gently fades the dark spots.

African Black Soap: All of a sudden we've magically discovered the "African Black Soap" which has been around for centuries. The Brand I use is "DuDu Osun" which I purchased here in Jamaica for $400 from Earth Elements. Below are some of the Benefits:

  • Naturally Cleansing Skin
  • Helps relieve acne, oily skin & other skin problems.
  • Great For Any Skin Type
  • Benefits against premature facial lines

Pure honey, Shea butter, Osun (Camwood), Palm kernel Oil, Cocoa pod ash, palm bunch ash, Aloe Vera, Lime Juice, Lemon Juice, Water and Fragrance.
This Soap is Bae and I would recommend it to anyone.
Diet Change: If you know me you would know that I looooove FAST FOOD!!! I don't get why most people turn their noses up at Fast Food as it is sooo good and it saves time! Anyhoo , I'm eating a lot more protein and foods with Vitamin C which naturally brightens the skin. I'm eating more Fruits and Vegetables than Fast Food :-(
Water : Now , I was against this as I've been seeing people drinking huge jugs of water daily and I think that's ridiculous! I find that the water brings back the elasticity in my skin and it flushes the system of anything extra that usually clogs the pores and so on.
All the things I've listed above is not a magic fix to getting rid of Acne Scars but takes , time patience and dedication if you want to see results.
