5 Basic Essential Oils and How to Use Them

I'm glad that people are starting to discover the amazing Properties , Uses and Benefits of Essential Oils. Most people are familiar with the famous Coconut Oil and it's many uses but there are so much more essential oils to discover. Today we will be talking about 5 Basic Essential Oils and how to use them.

Olive Oil

This can be used for a number of things like Cooking , Skincare and even Hair-care. I use this in my hair when I deep condition to lock in that extra moisture. All you do is spray or rub less than a pea size amount on your hair with your deep conditioner , apply a steam cap , leave for 30 minutes then rinse. Your hair will be so soft and manageable. Also great for dry skin on its own or with your favorite lotions and creams!

Peppermint Oil

I actually love the scent of this because it has that fresh minty smell. This is good to wake up the hair follicles to promote growth. If you have stubborn hair that won't grow all you need is a little Peppermint.

Lemon Oil

Lemon Oil is a great natural freshener and deodorizer. To get rid of that weird bathroom scum , spray a bit of lemon oil and vinegar in the Tub , Shower or Toilet and it will be as fresh and crisp.

Coconut Oil

Yes I had to do the cliche thing and add this to the list just because. You all know the many uses of Coconut Oil but let me explain. If you want whiter teeth for a fraction of the cost of teeth whitening . all you have to do is gargle coconut oil in your mouth for about 5 minutes daily ( do not swallow ) and your teeth will be significantly whiter after a month or even less.

Neem Oil

I discovered this last week and I must tell you it stinks! You can tell that something will definitely work for you if it stinks ... said no one ever! This Oil has so many uses from
  • A natural insect repellent
  • A safe pesticide
  • A fertilizer
  • A skin care ingredient
  • A contraceptive
  • A medicine with hundreds of different uses...
Its good if you suffer from eczema , psoriasis , warts or any type of skin aliments.
