The 20's set the trend for the rest of our lives. Its the time where we truly find ourselves , our real friends and what we are meant to do in this life. Once you hit the 20's you start to look at the world in a different way ( hopefully ).
Here are a few healthy habits to start in your 20's
1. Long Term Saving: I'm sure as millennials we read articles which all seem to say we should invest rather than save. Let's be realistic ... we still need to have a good chunk of money saved for a long term goal/s. It could be to buy a house , car or even travel the world. Think of a % to set aside each month before you've paid all your bills and be sure to stick to it.
2. Good Work Ethics: It seems everyone is an Entrepreneur ( nothing wrong with that ) but most people seem to be leaving their jobs because their boss is an idiot. I don't think all those bosses are idiots , maybe they are not good employees. Things like being punctual , not drinking on the job and actually doing work at work are things expected of you. If you can't follow simple rules laid out in a Contract .. how will you run a successful company? Pretty soon , you will begin to complain that all your employees are idiots which will bring you back to square one.
4. Self Awareness: Remember that post about F.O.M.O? It's because people don't know who they are. You have to know who you are and what you stand for. If most of these girls and (guys ) on Social Media knew who they were .. they wouldn't have to post semi nude pictures to get gratification from strangers. Go on a retreat .. travel , so something new that challenges you to get a sense of who you are.
Know your Purpose: Why are you here? Why are any of us here? You've got to know that one thing that sets you apart from everybody else and do it well. That is called your purpose and very few people have found what that is and how to make a living off that. If you find that .. I guarantee you will live a happy and successful life.
