Jamaican Hip Hop Artiste Five Steez is set to perform at Jamaica’s Premier Hip Hop Event Pay Attention on January 31, 2015.The grounds of C&C South Beach, located at 2 Brompton Road in Kingston, will come to life as the versatile artiste showcases his lyrical skills at the event.

PayAttention is the brain child of a group of talented and passionate young men who believe that
because of its history, Hip Hop music has a place in Jamaica. Pay Attention is a one-of-a-kind event
which has had successful stagings since 2012 and is supported by companies like Hype TV&Hot 102 FM.
Five Steez is an independent rapper born in Kingston Jamaica. Growing up,music was one of his greatest
inspirations, specifically Hip Hop, and as he grew, so did his love for the music. One can’t help but to
listen to Five Steez as he brings across his music in a self-expressive way which can be attributed to the
‘golden age’ of Hip Hop. According to Five Steez in a recent interview as it relates to the event,

“PayAttention is the perfect place for local Hip Hop lovers, including the people who follow the local artistes. It is like a home ground for many of us so I'm looking forward to performing the new music for what should be my most loyal supporters". The artiste who is known for songs like “Slaving on the Plantation” and “Rebel Music”, will also be performing songs from his latest EP “These Kingston Times”. The new project was inspired by the city of Kingston and pays homage to the Jamaican capital in a way he felt was not being filled locally by other artistes.

Copies of the EP will be available to patrons at the show.
The show will begin at 10:30 P.M. Gates open at 9:00 P.M. Pre-Sold Tickets are $600 | $1,000 at the gate.
