Summers in July: The Worst Foundation I've Ever Used

Hi Guys! Good Morning , Happy Monday ! Today i would like to have a bit of a Girl Talk and share with you something I'm truly sorry i bought ( even though it was on Sale)

The worst foundation I've ever used in my entire life is the Black Radiance Colour Perfect Oil Free Liquid Make up . I actually bought this because i see it in the Beauty/Make-up section on the Walmart Website alot! And i was interested because there is not a lot of Make-up targeted for black skin at Walmart . Rewind to 5 months ago and i saw it at Monarch Pharmacy on SALE for $300 jmd ... that's crazy, liquid make-up for $300!

Anyway , i brought it home tried it and hated it! I tried it a second time , this time by watching YouTube videos to see how to apply it and i still hated it! It has a really weird texture and consistency. Before i get into all that ... the smell!! It smells like old lady :-( The texture kinda reminds me of Clay and how quickly Clay dries once it's exposed to the Sun . It has more of a red underdone and it goes on really splotchy! If you have Oily Skin ... its not for you (even though it says oily skin). This product does not withstand heat ... in fact i think it draws heat to your face and gives that sweaty "piggy" look. I used it one day without a loose powder and before i went out the door it was already melting off ! I also tried it the next day with Powder and nothing changed.

According to the Product Description it says:
  • Water Based Product
  • Full Coverage
  • Matches Skins Undertone
  • Never Achy
  • Never Red
  • Leaving Skin Fresh for a Natural Look
Yeah Right!

Based on my experience with this product i would not recommend to a friend at all!

I know Black Radiance re-branded recently so i'm guessing i have the old Formula

If you've used this product ... please for the love of God ... share your experience.

(something BIG will be announced soon)

I agree. I recently started wearing makeup, and I just realized how hard it is to find affordable (drugstore) foundation that caters to W.O.C especially to darker women like myself. I discovered black radiance's BB cream on YouTube and I gave it a try. I still don't know how I feel about that. I've worn it a few times and it's either me, the primer I'm using, or the BB cream itself that's not agreeing with me. I wanted to stick with Black Radiance because they were established for W.O.C . I've also recently bought two foundations from them was too light so I gave it another go.. And no. I was trying to be "cheap" , but I guess if I want to put stuff on my face I need to be thinking about the quality rather than then the price. I don't like it. At all.
