Restaurant Week ( Jamaica) Launch Party : Kingston

"Jamaica's Premier culinary one -week celebration is set for November 9-17 " . This highly anticipated event has seen 8 successful stagings and is always a favorite among the locals. This is the time when more than 75 of Jamaica's top restaurants reduce their prices significantly so that patrons can have the chance to  feast on some of the most scrumptious dishes prepared by top Chefs in Kingston, Montego Bay,and Ocho Rios and also Jamaican Restaurants in New York and London .

To kick off the event , Members of the Media , Restaurateurs and a selected few from the General Public were invited to a  Launch Party at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel on The 4th of October 2012. The event was well coordinated and was reminiscent of a "Food Village" Type theme as it was held in "The Gardens" of the Hotel and there were various Food and Wine Stations to Indulge in. My favorite was the CB Chicken Station. They had various Pastries , Tasty Dishes and Sushi :-)  Guests also tuned in to a lovely video interview with famed  Jamaican born London based "Culinary Master " Collin Brown whose Restaurant will also participate in Restaurant Week. Please see the photos below.
