Beauty Resolutions That You Should Definitely Make in 2019

As we are slowly leaving 2018 behind, we can't help to reminisce about the things we have done and those we haven't. The new year is here and now is the right time to get some things sorted out and start fresh. Even if it is absolutely impossible to utterly change and implement all the resolutions that you have set your mind to, focusing on upscaling your beauty habits is a perfect way to start.

There is no better way to kick off 2019 than setting and completing some of these beauty resolutions.

Bedtime routines

Your goal should certainly be to keep your skin fresh and clean and above all rejuvenated. That is not so hard to achieve, but it does take time, patience and effort. First things first, every evening before bedtime, take off all your make up and thoroughly wash your face. By implementing a habit of going to bed without wearing makeup will enable pores to breathe and in that way, your facial skin will be able to re-energize. A quality and soft micellar water and a few cotton pads will do the trick. Then, don’t use strong facial night creams, but rather put a baby cream or a cream that has argan oil essence. Argan oil has innumerable health benefits that will totally improve the welfare of your skin.

  Nourish your hair

Visiting a professional stylist should actually be reduced to minimum. That is right, in 2019 try to cut down the usage of hot curling tools or a straightener, as well as excessive hot-air blow drying at the hairdressers. Visit them twice or three times max per month, and focusing on cutting the split ends rather than styling your hair with hot tools. This year try to nourish your hair by using olive oil on the root of your hair, leave it in for about 10 minutes and then rinse off. It will grow much faster and will be smoother and healthier. Also, try a new hairstyle every day, start off with interesting braids, do fancy updos and buns.

Look after your smile

A broad and honest smile opens many doors. However, if you leave your teeth unattended that might not happen. For example, many ladies in Australia have a habit of changing their toothbrush every two months, which should be done of course, but in 2019 also try to take care of your teeth even more diligently. Firstly, if you happen to need dental implants, find a professional Wollongong dentist in order to get comfortable and immaculate service. Next, you should whiten your teeth more often this year, only pay attention to the whitening products you are buying. If your gums start bleeding, then they are too sensitive, and you should change the product.

Wear a sunscreen

Even if you don’t plan to spend hours in the sun, wearing sunscreen this year is a must no matter the weather. The aim is to prevent your skin from early aging and to avoid having damaged and worn out skin. Oh, yes, that can easily happen if you don’t put suncream with appropriate SPF factor. You can switch to a day cream that comes with SPF protection, and in that way, you won't be feeling as you have loads of burden on your skin. It is always better to be safe than sorry, and wearing sunscreen even on a rainy day would stop 60 percent of UV rays penetrating your skin.

Clean your makeup kit

Probably you haven't been aware that this is something that you should have done more frequently, but in the following year washing you brushes has to be done regularly. One of the culprits for poor skin texture is the bacteria that spread on the dirty makeup kit. This year wash all the brushes at least twice a week. Simply dip them into a diluted baby shampoo and gently massage the bristles. You don't need to buy expensive branded cleaning products, this mix will do the job perfectly. Using clean brushes and applicators will keep your skin healthier and make your makeup last longer.

These are essential beauty resolutions that you should definitely implement in 2019. Bear in mind that healthy eating, quality sleep, and drinking plenty of water are also extremely vital.
