How To Keep Your Weekend Lasting All Week

With those blissful Summer months having finally arrived, it’s the perfect time to make the most of each and every moment before the cold weather hits again. While most people have the majority of their free time set for the weekends, you shouldn’t limit yourself to fun and relaxation for only two days. Who says you can only have fun on the weekends anyways?! Here are some ways to give yourself that weekend feeling throughout your entire work week.

  1. Don’t Go Home Right After Work: Most people feel tempted to go right home after a long workday. But with the nice weather and the limitless activities available for the summertime, it’s important to try and make the most of the warm weather. Whether it’s sitting outside and enjoying a drink at a local bar or taking a hike with your dog, making the most of your day will make a huge difference and leave you happy that you didn’t go straight home. In order to avoid concerns over wearing your workwear all day, either pack a change of clothes or make sure you’re wearing a transitional outfit starting with a comfortable bra that can easily take you from the office to whatever activity you have planned.

  1. Give Yourself Some Pamper Time: Long work days can often leave you feeling exhausted and stressed. That’s why it’s important to use those weekday nights to give yourself a little pampering. One of the best ways to fully relax and give yourself some self-care treatment is to apply a charcoal mask while taking a bath with a Lush bath bomb. If you feel limited with your free time, don’t take a bubble bath but instead treat yourself to a deep conditioning hair mask.

4.      Take Advantage of Happy Hour: This is a great way to relax and celebrate the almost end of a work week along with having the chance to get out and socialize a little bit with friends and/or coworkers. To make sure you’re getting the best for your buck, look online ahead of time to find the best deals near you. There’s nothing like a 2 for 1 deal that can bring you into a weekend mindset, am I right??
