Gabrielle Davis is Jamaica’s newest “it” girl who can be seen living the bi-country lifestyle jet-setting between Jamaica and Miami. She was recently featured in the most recent installment of “Love & Hip Hop Miami – Season 1” where we saw her trying to reconnect with ex-boyfriend, Pleasure P of Pretty Ricky. Since then her fame rose and her face is on popular websites and blogs and she is also dominating the commercial modeling scene and soon the silver screen. Today, The Haute Lifestyle caught up with her just to learn more about her and to find out what she has planned for the future.

THL: Tell us a bit about your background (where you're originally from, went to school etc)
G.D: Well to start I was born and raised in Kingston Jamaica where I attended Stella Maris Prep School until I moved to London at the age of ten where I began high school. At the age of fourteen, I moved back to my beautiful island where I attended the Queen's High School for a short time. I am mixed race my father is black and white and my mother is Indian and Spanish. I guess you could say I am the middle child of four, two sisters and two brothers.

THL: How did you get into modeling?
G.D: I first got into modeling when I was approached at the age of 16 by a family friend and photographer Brian Rosen. I was a little shy and skeptical at first but I soon grew a love for all things fashion and art. Later on is when I decided to join the pulse Caribbean Modeling Agency family.

THL: How did you get involved with Love & Hip Hop Miami?
G.D: Love and hip hop was a very random path lol my ex-had asked me if I would be interested in having our relationship on national tv. Eventually, I decided to go for it. It was a rollercoaster but a great experience overall. I loved it.

THL: Do people recognize you from the show?
G.D:  Locally I’ve had a few moments of being recognized which have caught me off guard lol ... still not used to it yet.

THL: Do you feel pressured to always look good?
G.D: In a way, I do feel pressured to always look my best as people are always judging and looking to see what I’ve put together but I always stay true to my Fashion sense -- which is a mixture of comfy, sexy and edgy at times.

THL: What is a typical day for you like? (talk us through your daily routine)
G.D: Well I wake up have a shower do my little skincare regimen, sit in my PJs while I skim through emails and my planner, make a few phone calls and then the struggle of deciding what to wear comes next lol. Sometimes that decision is hard because I am so indecisive. I always make time for the gym during my day unless I am absolutely crammed and even then I will resort to yoga at home. I get on with my tasks for the day whether it be shoots or meetings & plan for the day to come.

THL: What are 3 things people don't know about you?
G.D: Three things people don’t know about me -- I love the Science Channel! I am also learning how to DJ I’ve always wanted to do that on the side & I am very spontaneous.

THL: We're dying to know ... "tell us about your skincare regime"
G.D: Hmmmm skin care is always simple for me I’ve never really had a problem with acne and I try to drink a lot of water which helps cleanse your body of toxins. But I am obsessed with scrubs, coffee and cinnamon scrubs are a fave and you can use them
from head to toe, very good for exfoliating and moisturizing and it also helps with stretch marks ( which I have ) and getting rid of dead skin cells. I also love a good face wash... Clearasil
Is a good one.
I use an Anti-aging morning & night eye cream to help premature aging from the use of makeup and just everyday sun and wind damage. Also, cocoa butter is a fave for all over moisture as it keeps your skin glowing! I use a pore cleansing peel off mask to get rid of that icky stuff and I avoid squeezing my face! Lol I could go on and on.

THL: What can we expect from you in the coming months?
G.D: Coming up next for me hmm ... I guess you’ll have to stay tuned. Haha, I have a few projects lined up, one is a local film. And the rest can’t be disclosed but hopefully, you will be seeing much more of me.

THL: Finish the sentence ... " I cannot live without my ..."
G.D: I can’t live without my eyebrow pencil & my lip balm !!!
