Ever since I hit the age of 29 ( yes , little me is 29 ) my skin has gone crazy! All of a sudden the "monthly" breakouts leave acne marks and I have the same breakouts at the same places. Aarrgh! Instead of taking the traditional "chemical" route by prescribing to over the counter drugs by a dermatologist ... I've decided to go au naturale . Here are some ways I'm dealing with Acne Scars at home.
Bizzy Tea ( Kola Nut ): Bizzy (kola nut) is the fruit of the cola tree, which is native to the tropical rain-forests of Africa. It has typically been kept in many Jamaican homes where it is used as an antidote against poison, usually food poisoning, and allergies. Basically, if there is something on your skin that is not supposed to be there , the Bizzy Tea will remove it! You can purchase the loose tea and boil it on the stove then add sugar if you wish or purchase the Teabag in stores. I drink that every other night and it helps with blood circulation and makes your skin have a natural glow because it works on the inside. This is relatively inexpensive and is readily available.
Aloe Vera ( Sinkle Bible ) : These grow in tropical countries where the weather is warm and if you live on the Islands it grows wild almost everywhere. It's prickly like a Cactus and what you do is cut it from the root , slice it in half to get that clear gel-like substance. One you have that substance you are gonna cleanse your face , then apply the gel directly to your skin and let it set on your face until you feel it tightening. This removes the dead skin and makes your face smooth and soft and gently fades the dark spots.
African Black Soap: All of a sudden we've magically discovered the "African Black Soap" which has been around for centuries. The Brand I use is "DuDu Osun" which I purchased here in Jamaica for $400 from Earth Elements. Below are some of the Benefits:
