How to Treat your Blog like a Business

Thursday, September 24, 2015
Hi Guys! As you know we are in launch mode until the official release of our Online Blog Course.  If you want your Blog to generate an income , you have to treat it like a Business !

Sounds simple enough right? Believe it or not, there are a lot of things that goes on behind the scenes to make a Blog profitable. When Readers visit your site they should say: "I would highly recommend this site to all my friends and family". If that's not the case that's why you came here. Here are a few things to consider:
Video Snippet from the Course

PAGES: You will need to add a few pages other than your "home" page. There are tons of videos on YouTube on how to do this and all you have to do is type in "How to add pages on [ insert your Blog Platform ] and step by step Videos should come up. The page layout is also important and should entail some thought and attention to detail.

A Basic Layout could be: HOME , ABOUT , MEDIA , CONTACT. This is a Basic layout and you can add as many pages as you wish. I find that having a Media Page allows a form of credibility where Brands and Readers can view your most precious "curated posts". If you have Writing Samples , Newspaper Features , Radio Interviews , T.V Appearances this is where you will put all that. On this page you can also have a Media Kit ; this shows your Blog Statistics , Social Media Stats and show on. visit http://www.hautepeople.net/p/media-kit.html to see a live Media Kit.
