7 Ways to Be a Morning Person

Tuesday, July 14, 2015
There is an old saying that goes "Early to bed .. Early to Rise" , if you are not a morning person, getting up early could be the worst thing for you. If you don't quite have that pep in your step in the mornings here are 7 Ways to be  morning person.

Plan from Overnight: If you have everything in order from the night before, then getting up will be less overwhelming and stressful. Pick your Outfit/ Uniform , Accessories and even make-up ... lay them out and you will be good to go.

Wake Up at the 1st Alarm: If you let that Alarm go to snooze , your day is already over! Just go ahead and plan for everything else to be rushed and simply out of whack!

Set Your Alarm Behind: What I like to do is set my Alarm an Hour or a few minutes behind! Even though you can't steal time .. it helps a little.

Have Breakfast : People, you can't skip Breakfast then expect your morning will be filled with Sunshine & Happiness. You need to put back what your body lost while it was at rest an replenishing cells and all that good stuff. Aim at a Breakfast that is high in protein.

Give Yourself a Pep Talk: While you are there slumped in bed and not wanting to get up.. coax yourself into getting up. I find myself doing this on Thursdays when the week is over and the body is just tired! "Get Up Now" .

Exercise : Exercise in the morning can boost early morning energy surge... I need to get in on this train to get my game on point. After doing this for awhile , I'm sure things will work out for you.

Have a Routine: This of course makes sense! You need to have some sort of routine to have a successful morning. This helps you to get things together and put things into perspective.

How do you get your morning started?

  9. It's crazy how challenging it is to wake up at the first alarm after a long night. I have to do it or I'm dragging the whole day though.

  14. I usually drink a glass of water as soon as I get up. Whether I'm awake yet or not, it somehow rejuvenates me and seems to wake me up. Plus I've read about how good it is for you to do that.
