Before Getting a Facial You should Know This

Friday, April 3, 2015
People go crazy over Facials ( well not literally ) but you catch the drift. Companies make numerous "At Home Facial " products to get consumers to purchase at home versions of Products to do their own Facials. If you are thinking about getting a Facial ... here are a few things you need to know.

NEVER GET A FACIAL BEFORE A BIG EVENT: It is important to know that Facials are done for a number of reasons and result in one thing ... New Clear/Clean Skin. With most of the Treatments the skin will usually peel due to the Products used. Imagine getting a Facial then going to a major Event. No Bueno

YOU WILL TAKE ON A NEW GLOW: Since the top layer of your Skin has been removed , your Skin will be super Shiny since it has been virtually removed. The Skin will be Free of Dirt , Make-Up and Toxins. Your face might look a bit weird ( think of a new born baby ) and how smooshed their Skin looks. In 12 Hours or so your Skin will go back to normal.

BE PROFESSIONAL ABOUT IT : These days there are alternatives to everything. Depending on whatever issue you have, your facial might be pricey. Do not substitute a professional facial for a quick cheap one you might find in the Classifieds section of the Newspaper or on the Internet.

DRINK LOTS OF WATER: Before you get a Facial , be sure to drink plenty of Water to avoid dehydration both before and after you go in. It is recommended by professionals to drink 2 to 3 liters leading up to the Facial. This of course is for better results and also because the Skin has gone through so much it lost a lot of moisture.

  2. I got my first facial last year and it was amazing! I am hoping to go again this year, but at $100.00 a pop it is pretty hard to justify
