Behind the Seams : Raddy Rich

This extremely talented individual has used the Art Form of Dance as not only an expression of self but a lucrative Career. He has taken his skills worldwide to countries like North America , Paris and most recently Russia. He has also been featured in a Russian Documentary which will be released soon because they were in awe of his skills specifically "Crossover" which is a category of Dance created by him. Haute People had the opportunity to interview this Dancer. Today we go Behind the Seams with Raddy Rich.


H.P: This is your 2nd nomination for Favorite Dancer of the Year ... How do you feel about that?
R.R: Very Good ... Its a big Step ... It has challenged me to maintain my dream and also the direction where im going.

H.P: You have been to countries like Paris & Japan ... what is the reception like?
R.R: Everybody was shocked .. they didn't expect for me to do so well . I'm different as it relates to my style of dance and energy . Paris was very, very amazing. After teaching classes Japan was "crazy" good. People said im the best they met .. positive vibes.

H.P: Tell us about some of the International Videos you Choreographed
R.R:  Nikki Minaj & Sean Kingston "Dutty Love" &   Drake & Movadao " Find Your Love"



H.P:  What are 3 things people don't know about you?
R.R:  I'm a Singer & D.J , I do  Multiple genres of Dancing , I've created my own genre called "cross over" which I'm known for worldwide.

H.P:  Was Dancing something you always wanted to do?
R.R: Yes .. it's something I grew up with ... I've been doing it for so long I don't rem when I started , I watched old sch cassettes from my grandfather of Michael Jackson and James Brown. I was always dancing since I was young. Dancing became natural , never stopped .. never got bored .. always trying to improve.

H.P: Tell me about your first (paid) performance
R.R: Can't remember in too much detail , but I was excited . It was in Portmore at Jamworld ... Jenny Jenny was the host.  There was also one in the community of Portland ... Independence Show put on by JDCD. That first performance confirmed my gift.

H.P: What are you most excited about for 2015?
R.R:The Tours that are lined up in 4 Diff countries for this Year and of course my nomination in the Youth View Awards.
