This Vs That : Santee Beach Blue vs Kleancolor Beach Blue Nail Polish

Wednesday, April 10, 2013
Hi Guys! What are the odds that i would find 2 nail polishes of different brands that have the same name? I have no idea ... but i think this makes a great comparison post.

Santee " Beach Blue"

I bought this last Summer and it was in a few of my favorites posts. It was either $175 jmd or $225 jmd. It has a really nice colour pay -off and it was not streaky or "gloopy" . It kinda looks like the colour of our native "Blue Lagoon", it has that really nice aquamarine color  I like the fact that this lasted for days and it dries fast.

I give this product a 4/5 and would definitely recommend to a friend

Kleancolor "Beach Blue"

Honestly , this was an impulse buy . I bought it for $150 jmd and i definitely got what i paid for here. It was streaky , gloopy , runny and took soooo long to dry . I tried all the nail drying tricks and it still didn't dry quick enough ... i would say give it a good 20 minutes to dry if you don't want smudging .... and that's actually just one coat! The good thing about this is the color ... its a bit lighter than the Santee brand ... it has more of a "Pool Blue" .

I give this product 1/5 . I would not recommend this to a friend at all

If you have tried either brand , please comment below . I would love to hear what people have to say about the Kleancolor  Nail polish ... maybe i can get some tips.

  1. KleanColor formula is just ridiculously thick to me. Something really went wrong. It never really dries. Lol. Of the two, I prefer Santee. Dries really fast & it goes on smooth.
